Such a bad experience! Do yourself a favour and do not even think about going there! Ive been to many London clubs, this is an incredibly overrated place with arguably the worst staff ever! The most arrogant staff refused to give coat and bag back to my friend (a well dressed, polite girl studying a prestigious university) and when she complained they kicked her out of the club and caused her bruises and hurt her neck and finger. Unbelieavable!

I have been everywhere in London, experienced the the best and the worst bars and clubs, the one definitely is one of the worst!
The design is great, they have done a great job with the look of this bar/club but the staff just completely cancels out the positive apect. The staff has an attitude that made me wonder quite a few times during the evening if I was a paying customer in a London bar or a slave being ordered around by some bullies!
I cannot even stand the thought of spending my money in such place one more time!
I would rather go where a business appreaciates basic customer service.
Just because of the staff, AVOID!

there were 9 girls and 5 guys in our group for a friends 33rd bday. The bouncers would not let us in because we had ‘too’ many guys in ratio to girls. In the end the bouncer agreed if we paid him a seperate £60.00 secretly when he came looking for us inside.
what a shame.

I came here for my birthday on a saturday with a large group of people, having read the reviews i was a bit worried about getting in as the reviews were saying the doormen were racist against white people and just letting Asian people in. The bouncers were black, white and asian so not sure where that review came from. There was a queue and the bouncer did ask 2 of my mates to come back in twenty mins as they appeared a bit drunk, (they werent) but rather than argue they came back in twenty and were let in. Inside it was Asian heavy but personally i thought this place had a really relaxed, fun, atmosphere everyone was there to have a good time and a boogie. The music was good, drinks reasonable, i had a great night! Thanks, oh i didnt get a cake and it was my birthday! boo! haha

Spent last Friday in Rumba for a mates birthday!
Had a wonderful time, could not have enjoyed it more than i did!
Great bartenders, no nonsense, just quick, efficient service!
They have some really great deals on during happy hour aswell! its a shame its not on the shots tho
Other than that i cannot possibly fault it
Great great night!

fantastic night in the restaurant and then the club
good food, not as expensive as I thought it would be. Could go straight to the club after dinner and the place was full of really well dressed, friendly clubbers. Music was spot on.

I went to the refinery Saturday just gone to celebrate my birthday. Two star rating simply because the music was outstanding and the venue looked good. The door staff, particularly a grease-ball, JLS-wannabe looking camp mofo of a doorman definitely know how to ruin your experience of this place…
I had over 80 people on the guest list with the best male-to-female ratio any venue could ask for…on top of that I had an area reserved with a deposit and they STILL felt like giving me a hard time just because I arrived with more gents than ladies in my immediate group.
On top of that, mid-way through the night I got fed some bull about how only 8 girls on my guest list arrived when the place was only packed out because of my birthday guests…with the majority women that I could of easily dragged to the door and counted.
On top of that, the queue management is ridiculously bad…there are more people outside int he queue then there is inside. I think they must be trying to look popular to cars driving by or to the homeless guy on the corner or something, because this just didn’t make sense, do not understand why they didnt just let people in from the start and let them get on with their night.
Overall, as much as I enjoyed my birthday I’ll never be going back to refinery. Hope this reviewed has helped

LOVE LOVE LOVE BAR RUMBA!
Had a smashing night on saturday! Great crowd, really friendly!
The door staff were great, had no issues getting in and left in a great mood!
I would most definatley recommend!

Went to Bar Rumba on the weekend and had a great time! Had to wait a while in the queue so next time I will book for the guest list. The music was awesome all night long. The staff were very friendly and energetic! There was one bartender and she was amazing! I think her name was Em? Will defo be back to see her!
